ABOUT US

WHO?
Wow Event Hire was founded in 2004 to provide products and services that bring that extra element of fun, excitement and style to special events both large and small.

The business is privately owned and run by Ben Marrin and based in Cardiff, South Wales. Before starting Wow Event hire Ben spent 10 years in the hotel, catering and events industry in the UK and Abroad. This has included working for the Truffle Group, Sydney Australia during the 2000 Olympics, Truffle provided all catering and event services for Nike and Samsung and organised many other events including the closing party for 30 000 Olympic volunteers. After returning to the UK Ben Joined the Celtic Manor Resort 5* and spent 4 years organising and running events both large and small, from large conferences for blue chip companies to the annual Wales open golf tournament and hundreds of smaller events and weddings.

WHY?
Working at the Celtic Manor gave Ben the inspiration to set up Wow Event Hire.

Private individuals are our core customers and weddings/parties are our business. Since starting we have attended well over 100 weddings and parties, we see this as very much our speciality.
